Danisha L. Allen, MD
Cytopathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology
Dr. Allen is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with a subspecialty certification in Cytopathology. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Morgan State University and a Doctor of Medicine from The George Washington University. She completed her residency training at The George Washington University Medical Center. This was followed by a Cytopathology fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital and a second fellowship in Gastrointestinal and Surgical Pathology at the Rhode Island Hospital, an affiliate of Brown University. In 2013, Dr. Allen returned to her hometown of Baltimore to join the HCT Pathology practice at Saint Agnes Hospital. Subspecialty interests include Cytopathology, Gastrointestinal pathology, Head & Neck pathology, and Pulmonary pathology.
TopSara S. Brownschidle, MD
Cytopathology
Dr. Brownschidle received her BA in anthropology from Bryn Mawr College in 2003 and her MD from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 2009. She stayed at the University of Vermont Medical Center for her AP/CP residency and Cytopathology fellowship. Dr. Brownschidle is board certified in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. After three years of private practice in New York, she joined HCT in 2018 to practice at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, where she directs the Cytopathology and Blood Bank services. In her free time, she enjoys international travel and spinning on her Peloton bike.

Dr. Darko is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with subspecialty certification in Cytopathology and additional fellowship training in gastrointestinal pathology. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Howard University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2005. She completed her residency training at the University of Maryland Medical Center in 2009. This was followed by a Cytopathology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Healthcare system and a second fellowship in gastrointestinal pathology at Roger Williams Medical Center/Boston University Fellowship program in Rhode Island. Dr. Darko returned to Maryland to join the HCT Pathology practice in 2018 after eight years of practice in Rhode Island. Subspecialty interests include Cytopathology, Gastrointestinal pathology, Breast, and Gynecologic pathology.
TopThomas J. Enelow, MD
Dermatopathology
Thomas J. Enelow, M.D. is director of the Dermatopatholgy Division of HCT Pathology Services. He is board certified in Dermatopathology by the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Board of Pathology, and Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology. Dr. Enelow completed his dermatopathology fellowship at George Washington University under the guidance of Drs. Carmen Myrie-Williams and Mervyn Elgart, including rotations at the Armed Forces Instititue of Pathology Dermatopathology Division and Immunodermatology Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Tulane University of New Orleans. He has practiced in the Baltimore Washington area since joining HCT Pathology Services in 1997.
TopAshley D. Gable, MD

Dr. Gable is board certified in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, and Dermatopathology. After attending college at the Georgia Institute of Technology and graduating magna cum laude from the University of Illinois, she attended Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas, where she earned a Doctor of Medicine degree with Honors. She completed her anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, her surgical pathology fellowship at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, and her dermatopathology fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Gable has been active in many leadership roles including President of the Medical Staff, Chairperson of the Department of Pathology, Medical Director of Anatomic Pathology, and member of the Medical Executive and Credentialing Committees at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. Gable recently relocated to Baltimore to join the HCT Pathology team, where she serves predominantly at Saint Agnes Hospital.

Christopher T. Grove, MD

Dr. Christopher Grove is a board certified in Anatomic and Clinical pathology. He graduated cum laude with a degree in Biology from Shepherd College (1992) and received his medical degree with distinction from the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. (2002). After completing a transitional internship in clinical medicine, Dr. Grove completed his anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (2007). As a staff pathologist at Walter Reed, Dr. Grove initially served as the Medical Director of Autopsy Services and Client Services (2007-2008). Most recently he has served as the Medical Director of Surgical Pathology (2008-Present). Additionally, Dr. Grove was the Medical Director of the clinical pathology laboratory at Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center at Ft. Meade, MD. Born and raised in Westminster, MD, Dr. Grove started his career in pathology as a pathology assistant in the lab at Carroll County General Hospital (now Carroll Hospital Center) in 1994. Dr. Grove returned to Carroll Hospital Center in 2011 to serve as the Chief of Pathology. Dr. Grove enjoys sharing his passion for pathology by teaching students, technicians, and clinical staff.

Dr. Habib is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with subspecialty certification in Hematopathology. He received his M.D. from Tishreen University, Latakia, Syria. He completed his anatomic and clinical pathology residency training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI and finished hematopathology fellowship training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in NYC, followed by Oncologic Surgical pathology fellowship training at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) in Buffalo, NY. He practiced as staff pathologist at RPCI for six years before joining the HCT Pathology practice at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. He is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists (CAP), fellow of American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), and is a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP).

Dr. Hansen is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He received an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rochester in 1990, where he graduated magna cum laude in Neuroscience and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He completed his medical school training and graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine in 1994, having been elected to the Association of Pathology Chairs Honor Society. He then completed his residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Georgetown University Medical Center in 1998, having served as Chief Resident. He continued at Georgetown University Medical Center, where he completed a fellowship in Surgical Pathology in 1999. He subsequently joined Drs. Hicken, Cranley, and Taylor, P.A. and has since actively practiced at many of our affiliated hospitals, including St. Agnes Hospital, Carroll Hospital Center, Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, and Northwest Hospital Center. He has served as Chief of Pathology at Northwest Hospital Center (2001 – 2010), HCT President (2010-2015), HCT Treasurer (2008-present), and Managing Physician of HCT Pathology Services (2008-present). His interests in pathology include hematopathology, breast pathology, gastrointestinal pathology, transfusion medicine, and molecular pathology. In 2017, Dr. Hansen resumed the role of Chief of Pathology at Northwest Hospital, where he is also actively involved in the Lifebridge Health Cancer Committee and the Northwest Hospital medical student teaching program

V. Dixon King, Jr, MD
Breast & Gynecologic Pathology, Urologic Pathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology
Dr. King graduated with Highest Honor from Auburn University and received his MD from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and also completed a Fellowship in Medical Microbiology at Johns Hopkins. He joined the HCT group in 1993. From 2000-2001 he was the President of the Maryland Society of Pathologists. He is a general surgical Pathologist with a special interest in Breast, Urologic and Gastrointestinal Pathology. Dr. King serves as Chair of the Department of Pathology at Upper Chesapeake Hospital in Bel Air, MD and Harford Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. He has 4 children, ages 12, 9, 5 and 5. In his free time he enjoys distance running and travel.

Dr. Bhavna K. Kumar attended medical school at Kharkov Medical Institute, Ukraine and Shyam Shah Medical College, India. She completed her AP/CP Pathology residency at NYU. Subsequently, she did a surgical pathology fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine/ Barnes-Jewish Hospital and cytopathology fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She is board certified in AP/CP and Cytopathology. She started working at the Union Hospital of Cecil County in 2006, and has served as chair of the department of pathology since 2016. She joined HCT in 2018. Her other interests include gardening and traveling.
TopDiana W. Molavi, MD
Orthopedic Pathology, Clinical Chemistry
Dr. Molavi received her BS from Pennsylvania State University in 1992, a PhD in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University in 1996, and her MD from Washington University in St Louis in 1999. She returned to Baltimore and completed her pathology residency (AP/CP) at Johns Hopkins Hospital. After residency, she stayed at Johns Hopkins for a year of surgical pathology at Bayview Medical Center and specialty training in breast pathology under Dr. Pedram Argani. She joined the HCT group at Sinai in 2007, practices general anatomic pathology with an interest in orthopedic pathology, and directs the chemistry and point of care laboratories at Sinai. She has authored an introductory textbook on surgical pathology, and continues to teach residents and medical students at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Dr Nicol graduated from the University of California Berkeley (1986) and received her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine (1991). AP/CP residency training and fellowships in Surgical Pathology as well as Cytopathology were all completed at The Johns Hopkins University Medical Institutions (1991-1998). Dr Nicol joins the HCT group (2012) to practice at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center and Harford Memorial Hospital.

Curtis Ollayos finished his pathology residency in 1993. SInce that time, he has practiced in the federal, academic, and private settings. He has special interest and training in cytopathology, and is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and cytopathology. He has a Master of Public Health with an emphasis in biostatistics and epidemiology, and enjoys health system analysis. Dr. Ollayos is Chairman of the Department of Pathology at Montgomery General Hospital.

Dr. O’Malley is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He attended Brown University where he graduated summa cum laude with an Sc.B. in Physics. He worked as an information technology consultant in New York City before studying Medicine at the University of Maryland where he also completed his residency training. Dr. O’Malley finished training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital as a Surgical Pathology Fellow. Dr. O’Malley is a Baltimore native, and joined HCT in 2010. He works primarily at Sinai Hospital. Subsequently, she completed her residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC. Her fellowship training in Clinical Cytopathology was obtained at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD, where she also worked as Clinical Instructor during 2012-2013. TopJeffrey L. Seibel, MD, PhD
Hematopathology
Jeffrey L. Seibel, MD PhD has served as Chief of Pathology at St. Agnes Hosptial since 2010 and is the Director of the Hematology Laboratory at St. Agnes Hospital. He is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, with subspecialty certification in Hematopathology. He received his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology at Princeton University. Dr. Seibel earned a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center with basic science research on the structure and function of the T-cell antigen receptor molecule. He trained in Pathology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he also completed a fellowship in Hematopathology. His interests include diagnosis of leukemia and lymphoma by flow cytometry and molecular techniques, laboratory evaluation of coagulation disorders, and immunohistochemistry. Dr. Seibel’s other passions include building vacuum tube audio equipment, playing guitar, and backpacking.

Dr. Tuur completed her dermatopathology fellowship at the Armed Forces Instititue of Pathology and then served as a staff dermatopathologist at the Department of Dermatopathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology for ten years. She practiced for five years at Quest Diagnostics, Baltimore. Dr. Tuur joined HCT in 2010. She is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists, and is a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology and The American Society of Dermatopathology.

Dr. Long Yang is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with subspecialty certification in Hematopathology. He received his M.D. from Peking University Health Science Center and Ph.D. from University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Yang completed his pathology residency training at New York University, Langone Medical Center; hematopathology fellowship training at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women’s Hospital; and oncologic surgical pathology fellowship training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Yang joined the HCT group in 2018 to practice at Carroll Hospital Center. In his leisure time, Dr. Yang enjoys traveling with his family, and loves running and playing tennis.

He graduated from the Peking University Health Science Center and received his Ph.D. at West Virginia University School of Medicine. Dr. Zhu completed his pathology residency at University of Rochester Medical Center and a fellowship in Dermatopathology at Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology in New York City . He is a fellow of College of American Pathologist and the American Society of Dermatopatholgy. Dr. Zhu has been with HCT since 2000.
